Dreamwalking the ability to enter the dreams of another person.
Once inside the dreams of another, the Dreamwalker can observe, can move about, can interact with various aspects of the dream.
If a Dreamwalker has some training, they can start to learn to manipulate the Dreamscape. Which is to say, they could change aspects of the dream or even change the dream entirely. They could turn a nightmare into something nice, or a nice dream into a nightmare. The larger the changes, the more training and skill needed.
Young Dreamwalkers enter dreams when they are asleep. However with training, they can learn to put themselves into a trance so that they can enter dreams without having to go to bed!
Common Limitations: - Until they learn to trance, a Dreamwalker must be actually asleep in order to dreamwalk. - It is common for dreamwalkers to accidently slip into the dream of another person. Especially if they are physically close to a person, or emotionally close to that person. - The larger the influence or change they want to make to a person's dream, the more effort and energy it can take. - Dreamwalkers can sometimes absorb bits of other peoples' dreams into themselves.
