The Rules


1. No power-playing or God-modding. You control your character(s) and only your character(s). Even if your character can read minds, you must discuss with the other player before actual lifting a thought from their character.
2. Stay active. There isn’t going to be a set posting limit, but try and be reasonable about it. On the flip side, you can post as much as you like - well as long as you’re not going crazy.
3. There is no set character limit. This will be decided on a case by case - ie. if you can handle another character, you’ll be allowed. But if you’re not active with the character(s) that you have, you won’t be allowed another. Sounds fair, yeah? Also, we require a balance between male and female characters (unless you happen to want to play all males, in which case go right ahead). Note: We ask that players wait a week after introducing their first character before applying for a second character. After a second character, activity of those characters will be monitored before being approved for future characters.
4. Journal entries go in your character journal. All comments are in-character. ‘Action’ posts go in the appropriate community (threads/logs go in the main game community, e-mails go to the e-mail community and ooc-talk goes in the ooc community).
5. Strike-outs (text written like this) cannot be read by other characters, unless indicated. Strike-outs imply something that was written and deleted. Not personal thoughts.
6. Please speak to the moderator is you are thinking about character marriage, pregnancy or death. The mod may allow these things but doesn't want an over-abundence of them, and will ask that they are played realistically.
7. To keep things easy, we’ll use the following formats for posting:

Threads:
Who: (the characters involved, or your character + anyone)
When: (the date, the time, and let us know if its backdated)
Where: (where is the log/thread taking place)
What: (a brief summary of what it’s about)
Rating: (this is only required where necessary, if the post contains questionable content - violence, high profanity, sex, let us know)


Emails:
To: (the name of the character(s) or their in-game email address)
From: (your character’s name or email address)
Subject: (whatever your email subject line would be)


Journal Entries:
Unless specified, journal entries made by your character can be read by anyone at the school and commented upon. If you want to make it private to only your character, or to certain people, you must indicate. For example:

[Private]

Journal entry goes here.

[/Private]

-This would not be viewable to any other characters. No one could/would comment.

OR

[Private to Rose, Lily and Sara]

Journal entry goes here

[/Private]

-This would only be viewable to the characters mentioned. Only they could read and comment.


Important posts pertaining to life at the school or Project Stargate opperations should be privated to their respective groups. For example:

[Private to Project: Stargate]

Body of journal entry.

[/private]

- This would only be visible to Stargate oppratives. Replace 'Project: Stargate' with 'Zener School' to make an entry private to only members of the school.
